This article is about the enemy. For her original counterpart, see Carley.
"SHE WAS THE FOURTH" |
Slicer is the disfigured version of Carley and one of the Butcher Gang enemies in Bendy and the Dark Revival.
Overview[]
Physical Appearance[]
Slicer has a unusually large head with three strings sewn onto her mouth. She wears a bowler hat and has disfigured horn-like pigtails on the sides of her head. She is relatively short, with large gaps for eye-sockets and mouth, and has glowing orange/yellow eyes along with long bone claws.
Behavior[]
Slicer will periodically appear out of nowhere and run at the player. If they do not move out of the way then Slicer will take a portion of their health much like the other gang members.
Unlike the rest of the Butcher Gang, Slicer surprisingly can not kill the player and can only hurt them down to one hit from death. Being one hit from death will not stop her from showing up. If getting hit by Slicer at one hit away from death then the screen will still have ink spots but nothing else will happen.
Strategy[]
Slicer only runs in a straight line. The best way to avoid getting hurt by Slicer is to move out of the way when she is running. This will reduce the chance of losing health.
In-Game Appearances[]
Bendy and the Dark Revival[]
Chapter 2: The Demon's Domain[]
Slicer can be first found in her crate from the room where her creator works. When Audrey Drew opens it, Slicer is found supposedly lifeless. However, after Audrey looks away, Slicer will disappear. As a result, she would appear at random times and will attack Audrey before disappearing in front of her. She will remain active, going after Audrey throughout the rest of the chapters until the finale part of Chapter 5 where Audrey and the Ink Demon merges into Beast Bendy.
Trivia[]
- Slicer's existence was first teased by theMeatly's tweet on October 26, 2020.[1]
- Completing the game with Slicer active will unlock the "A Butchered Decision" achievement. This makes her totally optional and the player can complete the game without encountering her if they don't interact with her crate.
- The easiest way to obtain this achievement if you don't want to deal with Slicer for long is to play through the whole game before entering Wilson's Laboratory, then backtracking to open her box before using a mix of fast travel and the subway to get back to Wilson's laboratory to finish the game. The achievement only requires that Slicer be active while you complete the game.
- She is the only enemy in the entire game that cannot successfully kill the player.
- It is heavily implied that Slicer is the monster form of Jane Todd, the artist who created the fourth Butcher Gang member, Carley. On the audio log next to Jane’s corpse, she says “one way or another, I’ll bring Carley to life”.
- This is further supported by the fact that when Slicer’s box is opened up and reveals her body, Jane’s body disappears along with Slicer’s.
- In the Archives, the part of the Butcher Gang’s description talking about Carley states that, “when you begin to examine her closely, Carley appears to only be a shell, with perhaps someone inside.”, further supporting the connection between the two.
