The Lurker (also known as Big Steve or simply Steve) is an ink monster from Bendy and the Dark Revival and is the ink form of Steve McGregor.
Description[]
The Lurker is a large bloated and obese humanoid that is made completely out of ink like that of the Lost Ones or Searchers. He has an almost squared head with a large jaw. His body is covered in various types of debris which is presumed to be used as some kind of armor. These items include an abacus, a gear, a storage box, as well as a few wooden planks and metal scraps.
Personality[]
The Lurker, despite his appearance, is quite harmless and almost friendly. However, he will only become aggressive during enemy battle or even when provoked. The Lurker is shown to have a big habit of eating anything, but his favorite thing to eat is an ink heart.
The Lurker possesses superhuman strength, durability, stamina, and agility, allowing it to open heavy metal doors, resist attacks from enemies, and fight without getting tired. If Audrey provokes him enough, he will physically attack her.

Chapter 4: Factory of Horrors[]
The Lurker appears inside the GENT building just before entering The Pit. A message written by Heidi reveals that he is harmless unless provoked and Audrey can return to animation alley's kitchen to get a beating heart to feed him. He then sits by a wall and reveals a doorway allowing the player to get a schematic for their pipe.
Chapter 5: The Dark Revival[]
During the final segment of the chapter, the Lurker is seen helping Audrey by fighting off the enemies with Tom on his back.

- The Lurker was first leaked as a collectible figurine clip of Series 3 by Phatmojo from Joey Drew Studios online store.
- The early model for the Lurker in the "2020 Coming Soon" trailer is nearly the same, but the planks that are present on his body contain different textures.
- The Lurker is one of the few enemies that can give the player a game over. The other enemies that can do this are the Ink Demon, King Widow, and Shipahoy Wilson.
- The Lurker and Sammy Lawrence are the only two ink entities to have a completely unique appearance and never classified with any specific groups like the Lost Ones and Searchers.
- He was initially created as another enemy roaming The Cycle. This idea was modified to make him an ally instead after seen as unnecessary because the Ink Demon had already filled a similar niche.
