This set of Lost Ones falls under the enemy category for their hostility and arming weapons, serving as primary enemies of the Bendy series.
Bestiary[]
Physical Appearance[]
The Lost Ones are skeletal human-like creatures composed of ink, with slimy deformed bodies and glowing yellow/orange eyes. There are both male and female variants of Lost Ones, each having noticeable differences. Male Lost Ones are bald and have bulkier builds, while female Lost Ones have shoulder-length "hair" and more slim torsos.
In Bendy and the Ink Machine, the Lost Ones had a much more simple and smooth, rubber-like appearance. In Bendy and the Dark Revival, however, they were given an overhaul, looking much more deformed and more like humanoids made entirely of ink.
Behavior[]
In Chapter 4 of Bendy and the Ink Machine, the Lost Ones are simply NPCs that appear throughout the chapter. With some exceptions, Henry will usually find them just sobbing or standing around, appearing hurt and scared. Only one Lost One has dialogue, that being the one that appears on the Balcony. There is also a hidden Lost One in the vents that can be seen banging it's head into a wall within a closet.
In Chapter 5 of Bendy and the Ink Machine, the Lost Ones only make a significant appearance in the Lost Harbor. They are now hostile towards Henry, attacking him, Allison, and Tom after Sammy Lawrence is killed. They will simply run over to their target and swing at them until they are killed.
In Bendy and the Dark Revival, the Lost Ones are consistent enemies throughout the game, appearing in every chapter. The Lost Ones have more complex behaviors in Dark Revival, and also recieve full voice acting. When they are not aware of Audrey's presence, they will walk around, occasionally stopping to examine something in the room. They will also randomize speak out, usually with something to say about the Ink Demon or their desire to free themselves from the Cycle.
When they are attacking Audrey, they will still run to her and begin swinging, but they also have adopted some new behaviors. They will leap at the player, and they will also scrape ink from their own bodies to throw at Audrey. When Lost Ones are killed, their corpses can be collected and looted.
In-Game Appearances[]
Bendy and the Ink Machine[]
Chapter 4: Colossal Wonders[]
The first time Henry encounters the Lost Ones is in the Archives, in which they are all stuck in some position like statues, gathering in front of (and seemly worshiping) the Bendy statue. If Henry returns to the room with the statue after pushing the first book, all of them have vanished.
Inside the hallway entrance to the spiral stairway, a brief horror vision will occur showing numerous arms of the Lost Ones sticking through the walls, which are seemingly grasping at Henry.

After the balcony Lost One's scene, the next room Henry will enter will have many of them, most either staring into space, sitting in a cage, staring at Henry, or sitting on the ground mournfully.
As soon as Henry enters the vent, two of the Lost Ones are in front of the vent's entrance seen if Henry turns around, blocking the entrance. Another one is found in an unreachable room which can be viewed in the vents, banging their head against the wall.
One with non-glowing eyes can be found in Storage 9, sitting on top of a cage. Another one is found in the hall leading to the structure room from the Research and Design department where the Butcher Gang surrounds a heated barrel, behind bars and sobbing while curled up.
Chapter 5: The Last Reel[]

Allison and Tom battling a Lost One, in Chapter 5: The Last Reel.
Henry came to visit the Lost Harbor, the headquarter for the Lost Ones and Searchers. Upon sailing there, a Lost One should be seen peacefully fishing in the entry of the village way from the distance at Henry's left.
In the same location, the Lost Ones will spawn as hostile enemies moments after Sammy is killed. The Lost Ones spawn from the ink puddles similar to the Searchers, appearing in the middle of the horde of Searchers and are killed in two hits with the axe. During the fight, some of the Lost Ones will carry makeshift weapons to use against Henry, Allison Angel, and Tom. This is the enemy variants' only appearance.
They later appear inside the Giant Ink Machine, behind most of the glass cases lining the walls.
Bendy and the Dark Revival[]
The Lost Ones are encountered as the most common enemies throughout the chapters. Audrey can choose to use stealth (Whether it be sneaking away from them or Banishing them) or combat to deal with them. Killing Lost Ones allows Audrey to loot their corpses, which can provide resources like food, Slugs, and parts. Although all are the same in terms of appearance and combat, they were individually named as follows:
- Becky
- Hal
- Heather
- Jenn
- Matt
- Melanie
- Neka
- Scott
- Tyler
- Mad Artist

Trivia[]
- There were only male Lost Ones in Bendy and the Ink Machine, but female Lost Ones were introduced in Bendy and the Dark Revival
- Although, it is likely both were present in the original game but simply lacked sexual dimorphism.
- In Bendy and the Ink Machine: Chapter 4, there is a hidden weeping Lost One sitting in an area blocked with boulders, which is behind one of the pipes in the darkness, along with a huge Wandering Sin cutout. This can be only seen with hacking.
- In Bendy and the Ink Machine: Chapter 4, the Lost Ones appear in the removed post-credit scene where they surround Twisted Alice's corpse.
- The female Lost Ones' early model appearance, as seen from their debut in Bendy and the Dark Revival's "2020 coming soon" trailer, bear more simplistic rubbery skin similar to their male counterparts in Bendy and the Ink Machine.
- In Bendy and the Dark Revival, finding the secret Atrium Office Gameroom will also reveal one of the few non-hostile Lost Ones in the game, banging his head against a refrigerator. This is a reference the similar scene from Chapter 4, though this time, the Lost One will eventually collapse.
- In the orginal concept art for the Lost Ones in Bendy and the Ink Machine, it was shown that they were originally given pupils.
