- The Bendy and the Ink Machine character renders in the book are actually fan-made renders (both pre-updated and current versions) from the Bendy Wiki itself. The renders are originally made by the user SeriousNorbo and MemelordSpence. Although it was deemed as a minor controversy for theft, it was unintentionally done by Scholastic's part.
