Harold is Wilson's pet gilson fish, kept in a tank in his manor within the Cycle. It is unknown whether he is a freshwater fish or a saltwater fish, but Harold is difficult to catch unless exposed to "sweet" music.

Harold also appears in the Archives. Humorously, his corpse is inside a trash can, having died from being in dry air for too long. His description reads: “Too much dry air. Not enough fish food.”

Personality

Being a realistic fish in the Cycle's otherwise cartoon world, Harold isn't much for personality, but like all fish (according to Betty), he doesn't like the dry air and prefers the moist atmosphere of his tank. Music from the piano "lulls him to sleep", no matter how discordant it's played, though it would be more accurate to say he's in shock. As far as fish go, he's too smart to take bait from a hook.

History

Some time between Bendy and the Ink Machine and Bendy and the Dark Revival, Wilson either created or discovered the species of fish known locally as "Gilson", keeping a record on how to catch them and their medicinal properties before keeping one as a pet and naming it Harold, though what inspired the name "Harold" to be used on the fish remains a mystery. During her stay in the manor, Audrey attempts to capture Harold to make a sleeping draft for herself, but was caught in the act by Betty, who points out the indoor fishing trip was unnecessary as there was already some ground up gilson in the kitchen. The maid forgot to fetch that for Audrey's guest room, but corrected that mistake after telling her guest to put the fish back.
