Plot[]
Bendy and Boris enter Galloping Gulch for some root beer. Boris states the loyals here are so friendly. He takes it back when he sees one cowering behind a beam and other in a barrel. The sheriff exists the nearby saloon, calls them "idjits", and then walks them about the arrival of Barley the Bandit. As if on cue, Barley and his gang arrive. He demands everyone leave while claiming Galloping Gulch belongs to The Butcher Gang.
Instead of being intimidated, Bendy decides to settled the dispute with a chilli cook-off. Several people leave their safety upon hearing about the chilli. Barley agrees as he puts his own freedom on the line. However, if he wins, Bendy must leave Galloping Gulch and never return.
The contest goes smoothly. Bendy presents his finest chilli to the Judges, who enjoy its flavor and zest. And while not part of the contest itself, Boris offered cornbread he made using his father’s recipe. Barley, in the meanwhile, made his Great-Aunt Vernita's pork neck chowder. The skull-shaped skull appearing above it makes Edgar and Charley worry.
After seeing the chowder eat throw the bowl, the judges decide not to eat it. Barley takes a bite out, attempting to prove its safety. He only manages to knock himself out as his gang know they had lost. Bendy and Boris win, fair and square, as the Butcher Gang is locked up behind bars.
Trivia[]
- Giddyup, Bendy appears to be based upon the concept from Dreams Come to Life. This is meant to imply that despite Daniel Lewek's grisly fate, the production for the cartoon proceeded as planned.
