The Unleashed is a second free add-on update for Boris and the Dark Survival. It was released on March 19, 2020.

Features

• More Creepy Enemies Wander
  • New returning enemies: Piper, Fisher, and Striker
• New Playable Character
  • Lost One: The second playable character but moves very slow.
• New Discoveries
  • A second new dungeon area where the Butcher Gang enemies can be unlocked.
  • A new item, Lost Paper, is added. Collecting all 5 will unlock the Ink Toy from the Safehouse, used for unlocking new playable characters.
  • Borkis' jumpscare sequence is added.

Trivia

• A message from the Joey Drew Studios Inc. team is displayed, giving the world some hope and encouragement to remain safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was later removed in the Symphony of Shadows update. The message reads:

"No matter how scary some things may get. All things can pass and hope always endures.
With this update for Boris and the Dark Survival, all of us at the studio wish the world strength, courage, health, and full hearts.
We can solve so much if we all work together."
