Gaskette is a boss cartoon monster from Bendy in Nightmare Run, making his appearance in the second level, Death and Taxis, which features Bendy not paying Gaskette for giving him a ride, which angers Gaskette enough to chase after Bendy and beat him to a pulp for revenge. He also makes his return in Bendy: Secrets of the Machine as an animated entity and antagonist, chasing down Riley Wells.

Description[]
Gaskette is an anthropomorphic cartoon taxicab, modeled after the 1920-30s checker cab. His overall color is mostly gray-scaled to fit the game's general style, with a checkered banner on both doors and a taxi on his roof. He sports head-light eyes each with cartoon pie pupils, and a radiator grill filled with large triangular teeth.
His horror form mainly stays the same except for his inky gums, blood-stained teeth, and blackish fleshes and soft tissues oozing from gaps of windshields with a human eye exposed in the front gap, above his left headlight. There is also a big, inky pair of arms clamped to his sides by two cuffs and a hidden tongue inside his oral cavity along with a license plate labeled "DETH2U".
Behavior[]
Gaskette is not evil at first, however, when Bendy tried to get a ride without paying his fair, that’s when Gaskette starting pursuing Bendy. When angered Gaskette will do anything within his power to get revenge on the one who crossed him, innocent creatures trying to help him are also not safe from his wrath, as he will kill Krawls, Stickles, and Gwens to achieve his goal even though they are helping him, in Nightmare Mode if Gaskette's health is reduced to 0 then he will revive himself angrier than before until the player character finally dies.
Like all the bosses in the game, Gaskette disposes of a land-attack, an aerial one, the abilities to throw obstacle on the lines and summoning minions and his own special attack :
- First introduced in Act I, he pulls his motor out of his mouth and uses it to blanks everything on the ground of the targeted line and damaging the player if he is running on the said line.
- Later introduced in Act II, he throws a spiky wheel on a line, killing Gwens and removing the flying items. The wheel then falls on the line's ground damaging the player if they stays on it.
- Later introduced in Act III, he throws gas barrels on a random line, the barrels are jumping and stomping, they can be avoided by doing a double jump or simply changing lanes.
- Finally introduced in Act IV, Gaskette targets a random line and launch laser out of his eyes for short instances, the only way to avoid the laser is to change to another line, so this attack makes a line completely unusable for an instance.
Strategy[]
No strategy is needed, just a simple way of dealing damage to Gaskette until he dies. In Nightmare mode, Gaskette becomes faster, especially when his health meter is at the low, so the playable character will be on their guard at all costs.

Bendy in Nightmare Run[]
Gaskette appears as the second boss in the game, in the level "Death and Taxis."
Whenever Gaskette defeats the playable character, he will then beat up them with his front wheels.
When Gaskette is defeated in four acts, he will stop and growl at the playable character before turning around and driving away. When he is defeated in the final act and in Nightmare mode, then he will stop, his teeth will become crooked, his windshield is cracked, his right back wheel will come off and his left car light eye falls off.
Bendy: Secrets of the Machine[]
Gaskette appears as a drawing in the room with the family picture and is inspired by one of the drawings where he is shown with blood, representative of the car accident where Riley's parents died. Riley seems to draw the picture of the car all over the workplace, causing Riley to get fired due to the "Grim and disturbing subjects of [her] work." Later, she joins Gent and seems to consume a bottle of ink made by Gent. When interacting with the ink, the game restarts.
After the game restarts however, everything seems normal until the player enters the Drawing Room. The entrance to the main room is no longer there, with the only way to go being forward. once the player walks to the other end of the hall, the player can see a disabled Gaskette. If the player gets any closer, Gaskette will light up and will start to chase after the player. There is no escape from Gaskette in this scene, so no matter what the player does, they will die.
The game will reset upon getting run over by Gaskette, and the player can continue through the game normally.
Trivia[]
- Found within the game files, Gaskette is referred to as "CabBoss”.
- Gaskette's design is inspired by other anthropomorphic cartoon cars such as the taxicabs in Mickey Mouses' 1931 "Traffic Troubles" cartoon and Benny the Cab from the 1988 live-action/animated hybrid film Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
- His design also seems to be similar to that of the British Taxi from Regular Show. Both of whom are living antagonistic taxis that have grills that can transform into metallic fangs.
- Unlike all of the bosses, he is never seen in his defeat sprite after completing the final act and is replaced by a stack of tires.
- Gaskette's name is a pun on the word gasket.
- Gaskette's attacks seem to reference phrases that go along with cars, roads, etc. For example, his motor attack appears to reference the term, "motor breath", his spiky tire attack references "tire spikes", a method used by police to slow down criminals driving cars, and his laser attack references "high beams", a term used for the headlights of a car.
- His bio image mentions Fae Wray, referencing Fay Wray.
- The license plate of his monster form says "DETH2U".
- The monster form of Gaskette may be a monstrous representation of the car that killed Riley's parents and the trauma it gave her.
