"Open your eyes and look around you! None of this "makes sense". Drawn walls. Nightmarish creatures. An ancient studio that died out almost thirty years ago. It's all fiction. Utter nonsense!"
Wilson pointing out the absurdity of the Cycle, in Bendy and the Dark Revival: Chapter 5

List of Enemies[]

Toon Enemies[]

Ink Demon[]

Ink Demon

The Ink Demon, the main threat of Bendy and the Dark Revival.

Main article: Ink Demon

The Ink Demon is a sinister demonic entity based on Joey Drew Studios' beloved mascot Bendy and returns in Bendy and the Dark Revival as the recurring central antagonist. He first becomes active at the very end of Chapter 1.

When the Ink Demon spawns (Which, after leaving Animation Alley, will occur every few minutes), Audrey's vision will become gray-scaled, and warning text will appear. Once this occurs, the player has about 10 seconds to find a hiding spot (Or an area that the Ink Demon cannot access, such as vents). If Audrey fails to hide before time runs out, she will be instantly attacked and consumed by the Ink Demon, forcing the player to reload from a previous checkpoint or save file.

Occasionally, the player may hear the Ink Demon growl in the distance. This is a sign that he is about to attack, and players should stay near hiding spots.

Butcher Gang[]

BATDR-ButcherGang

The main Butcher Gang trio as seen in the trailer.

Main article: Butcher Gang

The Butcher Gang is a group of horribly disfigured counterparts of the villainous cartoon characters of the same name. These enemies have designated hiding spots across the studio, and will attack Audrey if she gets too close (Or, in Fisher's case, opens an occupied locker). There are visual cues for the player that will warn them of the presence of any of the Butcher Gang members, and attacks can be avoided as long as players stay away from their spawns.

If the player does trigger an attack, the Butcher Gang will chase and attack Audrey for about 10 seconds. Audrey can hide and force them back into hiding, or she can choose to simply outrun them until time is up. Once a specific spot has been triggered, they can not reappear in it until the player leaves the area.

There are four members of the gang:

  • Piper - A corrupted version of Charley. Piper will hide in Ink Wells, and his presence is indicated by bubbling ink. He will attack if Audrey gets too close to the well.
  • Fisher - A corrupted version of Barley. Fisher will hide in lockers (The lockers that the player can hide in). If Fisher is in a locker, the door will shake, and growling can be heard from inside. He will attack if Audrey opens the locker.
  • Striker - A corrupted version of Edgar. Striker hides special burrows that can be found on the ceiling. If dirt is falling from the burrows, it means he is inside and will attack if Audrey walks underneath.
  • Slicer - A corrupted version of Carley. Slicer will randomly appear in front of the player, screaming and rushing towards them for a brief moment before disappearing. Slicer's attack cannot be predicted or prevented.

Other Enemies[]

Shipahoy

Shipahoy Wilson, the final boss of Bendy and the Dark Revival.

Few standalone enemies include:

  • Twisted Alice - A tainted human-like version of the original Alice Angel and the antagonist of Chapter 5. In her boss fight, she attacks with a Tommy gun and Audrey has to avoid the bullets while making her way to stop Twisted Alice.
  • Shipahoy Wilson - A monstrous combination as a result of merging Wilson Arch with his cartoon character Shipahoy Dudley and pet crab. He is a boss enemy in Chapter 5, making him the final boss of Bendy and the Dark Revival.

Ink Enemies[]

Lost Ones[]

The male and female Lost Ones, some of the most common foes.

Main article: Lost Ones

The Lost Ones are the primary residents of the cycle, and are the most frequent enemy Audrey will encounter in the game. Apart from being enemies, they also appear in a variety of scripted sequences and cutscenes. Unlike Bendy and the Ink Machine, there are now both male and female Lost Ones present. Males are bald and have a generally bulky build, while females have "hair" and a slimmer figure. The Lost Ones have distinct names, and each comes with a distinct voice. Their names are:

The Lost One's behavior can change, but generally, they simply attack Audrey if they see her. They won't stop unless the player kills them or hides in a Little Miracle Station. They can also be banished if they are unaware of Audrey's presence. Once a Lost One is killed, it's corpse can be looted, which will provide food, parts, slugs, and very rarely, Gent cards.

Lord Amok is a "mini-boss" Lost One that can be found at the end of Chapter 3. He will send his 2 guards to attack first, and then fight you himself. Killing and looting him will give the player a large amount of slugs and food.

During the Winter Abyss, a special seasonal type, called the Santa Lost One, will become active.

Searchers[]

SearchersNew
Main article: Searchers

The Searchers are legless, crawling humanoids. They appear very few times throughout the game, and only truly serve as a threat during a scripted sequence in Chapter 2, where they will attack Audrey after she collects the Gent Lock upgrade schematic. They also appear at the very end of Chapter 5, where they will attempt to attack Beast Bendy. However, they pose no threat.

Ink Widows[]

Main article: Widows

The Ink Widows are a species of arachnid-like ink creatures that exclusively appear in the Sewers, and will hatch from eggs scattered around the area. Both the Widows and their eggs can be killed.

The King Widow is the protective ruler of the Widows, and serves as the first boss of the game. It will climb to the ceiling and spit out Widows, and will only jump down once they are defeated, where they are vulnerable to the player. If King Widow gets Audrey's health to zero, the player will be consumed.

The Lurker[]

Main article: Lurker

The Lurker is a monstrous ink form of Steve McGregor and first appears in Chapter 4. Unlike other enemies, The Lurker will not normally attack Audrey. Instead, he will only attack if Audrey hits him three times with the Gent pipe, which will result in the player being consumed.

Lurker will block a door in the Gent Workshop, which contains the Stun Pipe upgrade schematic. He will move if Audrey finds the Ink Heart in the Little Devil Longue (Located in the Kitchen) and feeds it to him.

Other Enemies[]

Keepers[]

Main article: Keepers

The Keepers are a group of ink cyborg-like entities that obey Wilson and stop the "cyclebreakers". They first appear in Chapter 4.

Non-Enemies[]

Bertrum (BATDR)

Bertrum's cameo in Bendy and the Dark Revival.

Some enemies from Bendy and the Ink Machine make a return in Dark Revival, but do not pose as threats.

  • Sammy Lawrence - The ink form of Joey Drew Studio's music composer. He appears briefly in Chapter 4 and the Chapter 5 finale.
  • Bertrum Piedmont - The monstrous form of the Bendy Land creator. His mutilated head only appears in Chapter 4 and does nothing other than having his one eye following Audrey.
  • The Projectionist - The monstrous form of the lead projectionist Norman Polk. Only his disembodied projector head remains, found locked in a case inside of the Pit in Chapter 4. It will scream if you hit it, implying that it is still alive. It is later used to play the "The End" reel at the end of the game.
  • Borkis - A paranormal version of Boris the Wolf that can sometimes be found outside of the boundaries of the map. He is a reference to the Boris and the Dark Survival enemy of the same name.
  • Sinful Bendy - A creepier version of Bendy who doesn't seem to be a form of the Ink Demon. He can be only found in out-of-bound locations.
  • Beast Bendy - The monstrous final form of the Ink Demon, which served as the final boss in Bendy and the Ink Machine. In Dark Revival, however, Beast Bendy is the result of Audrey fusing with the Ink Demon, and is controlled by the player at the end of the game.
