Dorothy "Dot" is a writing intern of Joey Drew Studios in Dreams Come to Life. All that is known about Dot is that she and Buddy teamed up when discovering the suspicious corruption behind the studio, especially the underground.
In Dreams Come to Life, according to Buddy, she has blond hair and cat-eye glasses.
In Dreams Come to Life, Dot is very direct and never tells lies to anyone, especially in important situations.
Dot is one of the major characters in the novel along with Buddy.
While not mentioned by name, when Thomas Connor is transporting the Ink Machine to Atlantic City he mentions that one of the things he agreed to do upon being rehired was getting the machine out of the studio and away from prying eyes and a "far too curious writer girl."
