Wilson tells Audrey he has a plan to stop the Ink Demon once and for all. He guides Audrey to his abode and introduces her to his assistant Betty, who tricks Audrey into taking a sleeping draught. Audrey wakes up at the mercy of Twisted Alice. After a failed attempt to Banish Alice, Audrey is rescued by Allison Angel and meets Tom. Audrey insists on meeting Wilson again and Allison tells Audrey she will gather all the help she can find.

Awhile later, as planned, Audrey meets with Wilson in his laboratory to discuss what to do about the Ink Demon. Wilson hypothesizes that the Ink Demon must be moved down the hierarchy and a new force must take his place, one which they can control. Wilson reveals a color painting of Shipahoy Dudley, a character of his own creation and the one he intends to use as the new "ruler of the ink".

It is then that Wilson reveals his true intentions for Audrey by erecting a small chamber filled with spinning saw blades, with the purpose of extracting her soul to use in his creation. Wilson says that he made up the story about his father, Nathan, who he openly shares distain for as he felt neglected by Nathan in favor of his innovative "thinker" colleagues. He says that, with Audrey's soul powering Dudley, he will become better than his father ever hoped to be and more.

When Wilson grabs Audrey by the wrists and drags her toward the incinerator, she takes him by surprise and he falls into the blades, killing him.

Making her way into a chamber that holds the Ink Machine, Audrey must fight the deformed version of the new cartoon and Banish Wilson from its waist. In the process, Shipahoy Wilson tears off Audrey's legs and leaves her helpless. Ink Bendy takes advantage of this weakness and consumes her, merging Audrey and the Ink Demon into a single beastly form. Joey Drew gives Audrey the End Reel and tells her he loves her, but Ink Bendy crushes Joey's body and tosses him into the ink. Audrey fights back, so Ink Bendy calls on all those in his domain to destroy Audrey. Allison and Tom appear, accompanied by friends both new and old, who clear the way for Audrey. Henry shows Audrey the way to a projector, and Audrey inserts the reel and points the projector at herself, restarting The Cycle.

The game ends back in the real world, where Audrey plans to adjust the Cycle to make it more bearable for those trapped inside. She turns to reveal that Bendy is in the real world with her.

After the credits, the Ink Machine and its pedestals are loaded into a Gent truck and driven away to an unknown location.

Walkthrough[]

"Enter the Manor"

After Wilson finishes his speech, stand up and retrieve the Gent Pipe. Disembark from the train, head past the Keeper and turn right. Follow Wilson into the next room, then follow the Keeper's directions (stand in the designated area, place the Gent pipe on the table, then stand in the designated area again). Once disarmed, follow Wilson inside the Manor. Talk to Wilson again, then follow his assistant Betty to your room. Read the recipe on the dresser to the left of the bed.

"Find a Gilson"

Head out of the room, turn right down the hall, then open the first door on the right to enter the Library. Read the book on the windowsill to the left to discover that a Gilson is a fish.

"Find a Fish"

Head out of the library, turn right, then go all the way to the end of the hall. Enter the door on the left, then move to the right side of the piano and push it closer to the fish tank on the left. Play a few keys on the piano, then interact with the fish tank. Betty will prevent you from killing Harold. Go back to your room, enter the bathroom on the left, and take three sips of inky water.

"Beat the Angel's Game"

To solve Twisted Alice's puzzle, speak to each of the Lost Ones tied to their chairs. There are four animals: bear, rabbit, bird, and fox. Each Lost One reveals a hint as to which animal "sits next to" another:

  • "The Fox thinks the Rabbit smells of elderberry. I couldn't see them sitting together."
  • "The Bird wouldn't have anything to do with the Rabbit, but I hear he likes to court danger by sitting next to the Fox."
  • "The Fox has always hated the Bear. They'd never sit next to each other."
  • "The Rabbit never sits next to the Bird, but he loves the playful company of the Bear."
  • "The pompous Fox? He wouldn't be caught dead sitting on the left. Far too pedestrian."
  • "My friend, the Bear, always sits next to the Bird. After all, they went to school together."

Ascend the ladder behind Twisted Alice to enter in the answer to the riddle. Once you have the guess you want, pull the lever to the right to confirm your guess. If you get it wrong, Alice will electrocute Audrey but give her another chance. Getting the correct answer (Rabbit, Bear, Bird, Fox) on the first try awards the "Socialite" achievement.

After correctly guessing the riddle, go to the room behind the electric chair and go to the right to retrieve your Gent Pipe. Upon doing so, the tied-up Lost Ones will appear and attack. Defeat the Lost Ones, then use Flow to ascend to the balcony across the hall. Entering the room ahead will trigger a cutscene.

Avoid Alice's gunfire and move to the back left side of the room. Charge the Gent Pipe, then head back to the right side of the room. An arrow will indicate where to go: up the ladder to a locked door. Enter the room and pull the switch, then head back to the first floor. Charge the Gent Pipe again, stand atop a pile of boxes on the left side of the room then use Flow to reach an upper balcony. Pull the switch.

"Banish Alice Angel"

There is a pile of boxes on the right side of the first floor. Jump atop that pile, then use Flow to reach the balcony behind the now-opened angel door. Sneak behind Alice and attempt to Banish her. After the cutscene with Allison, follow the hallways and corridors. Your abilities will be disabled as you see more Keepers. Sneak past the first Keeper, head directly across the room, turn right, then pull the switch on the right wall. Go to the end of the hall and turn right, then locate the music box on the dresser straight ahead.

"Fix the Music Box"

You will need to find two pieces for the music box: the key and the figurine. (ADD INFO HERE)

"Find a Spot to Place the Music Box"

(ADD DIRECTIONS) Two Keepers stand guard, flanked by energized pylons. There will be a table to the right, with a highlight to indicate you should place the music box there. This will distract the Keepers while you sneak around to the left. Cut across the room to a small area in the back-right of the room and throw the switch. Enter the door and continue forward to return to Wilson's residence.

"Meet up with Wilson"

Head down to Wilson's Laboratory. He will warn you this is the point of no return - make sure you save! Then step into the room to trigger a cutscene.

"Defeat Wilson"

Once Wilson is no more, continue forward to a spacious room, then pull the lever that appears in the middle of the floor. Shipahoy Wilson will appear and throw his anchor at one of the activated pylons, indicating what the player needs to do. Stand next to the pylons while Shipahoy Wilson throws his anchor, so he'll hit the pylons. Then use exposed wires in the front of the room to charge the Gent pipe and shut down the pylons. After each pylon is deactivated, Lost Ones will spawn and attack. Wilson will also throw gears - dodge them. Once all the pylons are deactivated, Shipahoy Wilson will try to dash into Audrey. Dodge behind him and hit him repeatedly with the Gent Pipe. When he swings his anchor, dodge the anchor and hit his exposed belly. After enough hits, Audrey will Banish Wilson's head.

"Break the Cycle "

After Audrey merges with Ink Bendy, simply rush forward, hacking and slashing at attacking ink creatures and punching through doors. Continue until you reach the projector and end the game.

Trivia[]

  • You can do a side quest for Betty: take the train to return to the city, head to the Farmer's Market, and pick up a box of supplies. Bring those supplies to Betty and she will show you a Memory in the ink fountain.
  • If 2 halves of a Lost One concert ticket are collected, when the player next returns to Artist's Rest, said concert is triggered, & the Lost Ones vanish after the performance.
  • The animals needed to solve Alice's puzzle - rabbit, bear, bird, fox - are a reference to Bonnie, Freddy Fazbear, Chica, and Foxy - the four original animatronic characters from Five Nights at Freddy's.
  • Additionally, one of the Lost One's clues - "The Fox thinks the Rabbit smells of elderberry" - is a nod towards Monty Python and the Holy Grail, where the French Taunter said, "Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!".
